  18.   Printing in ObjectVision

  20.   ObjectVision uses the Windows Control Panel to do all of its
  21.   printing unlike most Windows applications, which provide a
  22.   printer configuration option within their respective programs. If
  23.   you are having problems printing a particular document, the
  24.   source of the problem can usually be traced to the printer
  25.   configuration in the control panel.  Common problems: The
  26.   document is printing on half of one page and the rest on another
  27.   page, the document will not print at all, or control characters
  28.   are being printed on the ObjectVision document.

  30.   Experiencing Long Delays in Printing

  32.   If you are experiencing long delays in printing, or errors in the
  33.   actual print out, and you are not on a network, it could be the
  34.   print driver in use by Windows.  More specifically, the file
  35.   (located in \Windows\System) may have been updated by the
  36.   manufacturer.  You may want to contact Microsoft for the most
  37.   current release of the print drivers (released after the original
  38.   drivers dated May 1, 1990).

  40.   The Document Will Not Print

  42.   Select the Control Panel Icon in Program Manager.  Once in the
  43.   control panel select Printers.  The printer dialog box will
  44.   appear.  Check to ensure the printer highlighted is Active.  The
  45.   Default printer must reflect the printer you have highlighted
  46.   above.  If it does not, either double click on the printer name
  47.   by using the mouse or highlight the printer you wish to be the
  48.   default and press Alt+D.

  50.   If you use multiple printers you might want to make all of the
  51.   printers active.  This will allow ObjectVision to use any active
  52.   printer that is highlighted as the default printer.

  54.   The Document is Printing on Two Pages
  55.  
  56.   If you find your document is printing on two pages this can most
  57.   likely be associated with the scaling option.  Try reducing
  58.   scaling to a lower number.  Select the Control Panel Icon.  Once
  59.   in the control panel select Printers.  The printer dialog box
  60.   will appear.  Select Configure, then Setup.  Try entering a lower

  89.   When printing on a Network we suggest you deactivate Windows'
  90.   Print Manager.  Select Control Panel|Printers and deselect the
  91.   Print Manager checkbox field.  Print Manager is used to manage
  92.   the order in which documents are printed.  Most Networks provide
  93.   this capability so there is no need to have it done twice, it
  94.   only slows down the printing process.

  96.   When printing on a Novell Network you need to specify a capture
  97.   statement which is used to spool the files that are to be
  98.   printed on a network printer.  Please refer to your Network
